PRIVACY PROTOCOL
CLASSIFIED // EYES ONLY
01 // DATA ARCHITECTURE
SquadLink operates on a Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Mesh network utilizing WebRTC
technology.
This means audio streams connect directly between user devices (Operator to Operator).
>>> We do not store, record, or intercept voice data on
our servers.
02 // EPHEMERAL METADATA
Room IDs and Nicknames are temporary identifiers stored in volatile memory.
Once a frequency (room) is destroyed or all operators disconnect:
- All room metadata is purged.
- No logs of conversation participants are retained.
- No history tables are written to persistent storage.
03 // LOCAL STORAGE
We respect your device autonomy. Any persistence is strictly client-side via your browser's
LocalStorage:
- User Callsign (Nickname)
- Audio Volume Settings
- Microphone/Speaker selection preferences
No tracking cookies or marketing pixels are deployed on this frequency.
04 // SOVEREIGN INFRASTRUCTURE
To bypass strict firewalls (NAT Traversal), we utilize our own private, open-source
(Coturn)
self-hosted STUN/TURN
infrastructure.
By managing our own nodes, we eliminate third-party data handlers entirely.
These protocols are used solely to establish a secure handshake between operators. Our
infrastructure is blind to your data—it can neither decrypt nor store the voice
payload traversing the link.
